Thank so much for an excellent lunch. It was my first Indian Taco with Fry Bread and I loved it. My boyfriend has had them before and says Yours is the real deal, he loved it.
Went to the taco stand OMG the best Indian tacos ever!
Loved the pool and hot tub!
Great Food, Great People, Great everything! loved it there! Was in on 6/25/2019 and it was a real treat. Support this business!!!
Stopped by on our way back home to Oregon. Exceptionally friendly staff and a nice collection of pottery and jewelery. Dominic was kind enough to give us very tasty complimentary fry bread. Would highly recommend!
What s delightful find just off I-40! The Fry Bread was good, but the cultural arts and crafts were exceptional! Recommended stop!
For us, it's a must stop on the way out of Albuquerque to Arizona. Each time we've been there we've purchased beautiful Indian art and have enjoyed the fry bread. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable in all their offerings. We love going there!
Good, freshly made, fry bread.
Beautiful pottery and Indian crafts! I live the fact they sell Indian fry bread and tacos too. They were both great!
Great little store that has gifts and food.. Sweet, sweet lady that runs it.. No photographs allowed in store, these are my purchases.
Amazing shop and great fry bread.
The owner is awesome. They have great fried bread among other food. Also they have great native arts, made by natives and not in China. He explains to you the meaning of each piece and it's significance. We talked a bit, he taught me some pueblo words... Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by. I recommend this to ask my friends who are visiting the area...Akhye-he'.. forgive me but I forgot the pueblo version, so I used the Navajo...
Delicious Indian Tacos. Friendly staff. Beautiful art.
Excellent Indian tacos, Mexican bottled Fanta, and jewelry my wife loved. An great stop along our way.
I will always stop here if I'm driving through on I-40. The family is super friendly, kind, and informative. Order a taco when you first get there, then shop and talk to the owners while you wait. Travel tip: get a stack of plain fry bread and ask them to wrap it up for you; you'll have a delicious snack for days, so much better than fast food.
I bought what I was told was a very special and blessed piece of jewelry here. It is quite beautiful. I would only want the naked picture of the Native American woman removed. Otherwise, a sweet stop in the land.
The fry bread tacos were DELICIOUS and made fresh!! Definitely a must try! The two brothers were awesome dudes. Their selection of local native made crafts were all so beautiful. Glad I stopped in and supported.
Be sure to get an Indian Taco, delicious
Flat bread WHAT?!?!?!?! Food. So good. Dominic, so nice, friendly and AWESOME! The art is gorgeous, authentic and colorful. Highly recommend!!
Just coming out west and had to make the detour. Totally worth it and felt familiar and fry bread was the best
Tried their Indian taco fry bread! With a glass bottle of coke. It was good! Cute little spot on Route 66. Definitely worth the try!
This shop is full of amazing hand made pottery, blankets, hoodies jewelry, paintings. All from local artists at a verry reasonable price. And if your hungry there Indian tacos are worth the stop alone. I just ate 3 of them.
Awesome artwork and good homemade food
Nice authentic art work. I am mad I didn't buy the turtle rattle
FRY BREAD TACOS!!!!! Awesome! Real friendly folks. Just enough room to turn a truck around and park short term or do a u-turn and park on side of road. Well worth the stop.
Great fried bread and wonderful pottery and other native art. The guy who ran it was super nice and very knowledgeable about the pieces. Also the prices were very reasonable. Bring cash if you can
Stopped in on our travels through and saw a sign for the Indian Tacos which I've never had before and it was AMAZING! Made fresh and the bread wasnt greasy for being fried. Definitely a good place to eat something one of a kind.
Staff were knowledgable and helpful. Friendly atmosphere. Fry bread sandwiches were cooked order. Great pit stop. Local native artworks. Just that alone is worth a stop. Outstanding customer service.
Two Words: Fry Bread! My brother and I had not had fry bread in 26 years when we took a trip with our parents to Colorado as kids. It was amazing! Get a plain one so you can see what it's like on its own. Then get one or more with different toppings. So good! The handcrafted jewelry and pretty we're beautiful and reasonably priced. You can check the whole store out while waiting for the fry bread. A very fun visit just a minute of I-40./** If you read this post and it helped please click on the thumbs up to like it. Thanks! **/
So we stopped to try the Indian tacos. $7 each taco. It’s basically a puffy flour tortilla with ground beef lettuce cheese and sour cream. Would I eat them again? Probably not. I’m not sure if the Indian taco was authentic but was a good experience. Now, the store inside...I’m not familiar with Native American art but many of the items in the store are from Mexico and are way overpriced. The guy was nice and welcoming even though we just looked around. He wasn’t pushy at all which I really appreciated.
Wow!!! Stopped on our way through and it is a must stop for everyone traveling alone I-40. Upon entering, we were greeted by Dominic and given a brief history of his tribe. All of the items are authentic Indian crafted. The fry bread is the best we've ever eaten! Try one of each: the fry bread with powdered sugar, honey and cinnamon as well as the Indian taco with ground beef, lettuce and cheese!
Their pottery is amazing and I still stop when we come thru....
Great fry bread made right when you order & delicious Indian tacos. Inside there's a very nice collection of items for sale. Stop by if you can!
Love this place! Dominic is a great guy!
Beautiful authentic local stuff. Super nice people. First time trying fry bread! So good!
we found this place Just for Coincidentally, we just wanted rest a little bit and we get bit of history, good food and serves
The store was closed but was still able to order fry bread. We ordered multiple types of bread including plain, cinnamon sugar, honey and powder sugar. We enjoyed all of them but the bread was a little greasy.
Best Place to Experience FryBread and see local Jewelers, Pottery, And Arts and Crafts. Located off Exit 114 New Laguna Past The 66 pit stop Down the Road to Your Left, if you past the bridge you went a little to far. Fresh and Deep fried YOU CANT GO WRONG.Thank you
This was a great stop by the gas station , The Indian fry bread is so good ! I tried the Indian Taco and it was like a chalupa but not crunchy it was pretty great. The salsa was bomb.
FRYBREAD! Perfectly cooked fresh to order, and coupled with amazing hosts whom help answer all your questions. If you're on Hwy 40, watch for the FRY BREAD signs, exit to the right BEFORE the gas station on the roundabout, then you'll see it on your left. Beautiful Indian Arts for sale and phenomenal food!
Awesome fry bread tacos and dessert! Made without meat by request. Amazing service - bring cash though!
Stopped for the fry bread, it was made fresh, just when we ordered and it was amazing! Thank you!
